Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of morrislawok.com (the “Website”), operated by the Law Office of Jarod Morris (“the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
3. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and not to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or its systems; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Website’s operation; or (d) use the Website to transmit harmful, fraudulent, or unlawful content.
4. Payments and Fees
The Firm may allow clients to pay fees, deposits, retainers, or invoices online. Online payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. By submitting a payment, you authorize the Firm and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the amount indicated, and you represent that you are authorized to use that payment method. Charges appear on your statement under the descriptor shown at checkout. All amounts are quoted and payable in U.S. dollars. The specific fees and the scope of any legal services are governed by your written engagement agreement with the Firm.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
Legal fees, retainers, and deposits are governed by your signed engagement agreement with the Firm. Any unearned fees will be refunded to you consistent with the Oklahoma Rules of Professional Conduct.
On occasion, the Firm will engage in a flat fee representation agreement. These agreements are separate contracts from retainer fee agreements. It is the practice of the Firm to include specific, identifiable points in every case at which point a portion of the flat fee is earned. Any portion of the flat fee that is unearned is refundable to the Client.
To request a refund, discuss a cancellation, or raise a billing question, please contact the Firm directly or use your client portal.
